Praise the Lord for He is good and His mercy endures forever!

And he said, " Listen, all you of Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem, and you, King Jehoshaphat! Thus says the Lord to you: 'Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God's. Tomorrow go down against them. They will surely come up by the Ascent of Ziz, and you will find them at the end of the brook before the Wilderness of Jeruel. You will not need to fight in this battle. Position yourselves, stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, who is with you, O Judah and Jerusalem! ' Do not fear or be dismayed; tomorrow go out against them, for the Lord is with you." - 2 Chronicles 20:15-17

When King Jehoshaphat was surrounded by a great multitude from Syria, he sought the Lord and the Lord told the king and his people not to be afraid for the battle belonged to the Lord. Then King Jehoshaphat sent his appointed people to sing praises to the Lord. To cut the long story short, King Jehoshaphat and his people spent three days to collect their spoil from their enemies! The Lord has indeed fought the battle on their behalf.

In the midst of our adversity, it is the Lord who will fight our battle. At the cross, it was Jesus, the sacrificial Lamb, who was crucified. It is Jesus and Jesus alone who is worthy to be our kinsmen redeemer and He had accomplished a completely complete work at the cross. All our sins are forgiven and He had given us His righteousness. Those who accepts His gift of salvation are made the righteousness of God in Christ!

The good Lord tells us to be restful in His love for us and to be constanlty mindful of His finished work at the cross. In spite of all the negativties around us, we are to simply look to Jesus, the Author and Finisher of faith. Look upon Him and rest at His feet for He cares deeply for us. He is more than willing to fight our battle and to give us the victory which He has already won.

Give Him all the praises and worships Him every moment we are conscious of His victory over the evil one. When we give praise to Jesus and worship Him, peace will reign in our hearts and minds. His shalom peace will permeate to every cell of our bodies. Wholeness springs out of our bodies and living waters flow un-hindered from our bellies.

We then can see things through the eyes of our Lord. We will see things with a victorious eye. We starts seeing victory in our hearts and subsequently we see victory in the natural realm. We feel peace within in spite of the chaos that surround us. And when we pray in tongues, aggressive peace with arrest our hearts! And the Holy Spirit prays on our behalf when we pray in tongues. Give all the praises to Jesus for He alone is worthy of all our praises.

Give thanks continuously. For God can turn all things for our good. Even when you think you have come to the end of the rope, give thanks to God and praise Jesus for He is good and His love endures forever. Hallelujah!
