God Takes Care Of Our Needs

Do not worry then, saying, 'What will we eat?' or 'What will we drink?' or 'What will we wear for clothing?' For the Gentiles eagerly seek all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. "So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. - Matthew    6:31 - 34 (NASB)

Jesus was teaching the multitudes on the mount. He touched on the perfection of the law before coming to the place where He told the multitudes not to worry about their daily needs. He made the comparison of king Solomon to the lilies of the valley on how king Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like the lilies. That's because the glory of the lilies comes from within and not without.

Jesus expounded on how the Heavenly Father, who looks after the lilies of the field which come and go in a short time, will take care of the needs of the multitudes. The bible tells us which of us by worrying can increase our stature. That's to say, which of us my worrying will get the issue resolved!

The bible tells us about the manna principle. During the wondering and wandering years of the children of Israel, God caused manna to drop on the camp daily except on Sabbath day. God told the children of Israel to collect the manna for each day's portion and on the sixth day to collect double portion. The bible tells us that there were those who collected more than a day's portion and the balance portion bred worms and stank.

God wants us to live life care-free, trusting in His love towards us, living each day by faith and not by sight. Living each day knowing full well God will take care of all our daily needs. For God so loved the world that He sent His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to die for the world so through that one sacrifice, believers can live an abundant life. We can cast all our cares upon the feet of Jesus for He cares.

Whatever the concern that's weighing you down, cast that concern at the feet of Jesus. Praise Him and thank Him for having taken care of the things that are bothering us. For Jesus has conquered death on our behalf, what more will He not do it for us! Mayb it be a medical condition which the doctor has given a negative report, may it be a finanical situation which you have no way of getting out, may it be a relationship issue which seems impossible to reconcile, whatever the issue may be, leave it at the feet of Jesus.

Live a care-free life knowing you have a loving Abba Father who loves and cares for us deeply. Trust Him to provide for all our needs. Believe in His perfect timing, for all things will turn out for our good. Hallelujah.

O You Of Little Faith

But He said to them, "Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?" Then He arose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm. So the men marveled, saying, "Who can this be, that even the winds and the sea obey Him?" - Matthew 8:26 - 27 (NKJV)

There was a story where Jesus' disciples were in a boat together with Jesus. Jesus was sleeping at the stern of the boat. And there was a great storm hitting the boat. The disciples were afraid and probably terrified of the storm even though most of them were seasoned fishermen. That must have been quite a storm to frighten the disciples. Yet Jesus was sleeping, a rest He needed.

The disciples were so scared that they woke Jesus up and asked Him to save them. Jesus awoke to calm the boisterous storm and turned to His disciples to calm the storm in their hearts. Jesus didn't chide the disciples for waking Him up. Instead, He reminded them of His promise, presence and His power. His promise because He told them that they will go over to the other side of the sea. His presence because He was right there with them. His power because He just demonstrated His power to still the wind and the waves.

Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever. He has the power to change our lives according to the Heavenly Father's will. He is working behind the scene to make all things turn out for our good. While not all things are good and perfect at the moment, all things shall turn out for our good eventually. And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. - Romans 8:28 (NKJV) As long as you are a child of God, He shall work all things for our good!

With God, all things are possible. The bible didn't tell us to look at our faith to believe for good happenings. The bible tells of the Author and Finisher of faith Himself, Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour. He is here to sozoe us and to bless us in all things to enjoy! We are to look to Him whom nothing is impossible to Him. We are to take and receive from Jesus. Each of us has been given a measure of faith, use it! The more we exercise our "little" faith, the stronger will the faith be.

The only people that Jesus said had great faith were the Roman centurion and the Cannanite woman. They have great faith because they don't look at their own qualifications to deserve miracles in their lives but they looked to Jesus alone for the miracles they wanted to manifest! Whatever we are believing God for, keep believing! For it shall come to pass in His perfect time. Keep exercising our faith by proclaiming the victories that Jesus has already won on our behalf. Keep focusing on the One who never fails. His work at the cross is completely complete! There is nothing impossible to Jesus. Hallelujah!

Ask Not What God Wants You To Do

Come now, therefore, and I will send you to Pharaoh that you may bring My people, the children of Israel, out of Egypt."
But Moses said to God, "Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh, and that I should bring the children of Israel out of Egypt?"
So He said, "I will certainly be with you. And this shall be a sign to you that I have sent you: When you have brought the people out of Egypt, you shall serve God on this mountain."- Exodus 3:10 - 12 (NKJV)

When Moses was young, his "nanny" would have taught him the ways of the Jewish people and that one day the Jewish people shall be delivered from the Egyptians. He grew up well learned in the way of the Egyptians and the Jews. At age forty, he killed a Egyptian to protect his Jewish brethren. The news spread and he had to flee Egypt. At that point in time, he would have thought that he can deliver God's people through his ways but the result was disastrous.

He stayed in the desert for the next forty years thinking that he was long forgotten by God. Just then, God appeared in a burning bush and tasked him to bring the children of Israel out of Egypt. The once proud Moses was then stammering and asked God for help. God asked Moses to bring his brother Aaron to complete the assignment of bringing the children of Israel out of Egypt. Just when Moses thought that he was a has been, God was going to use him mightily to carry out some of the most amazing things recorded in the bible.

When we are on fire for God, we may have asked God what He would want us to do for Him. We may have seeked Him to find what we can contribute in the Kingdom of God. And maybe we have also asked God what are our gifts and talents that we can exhibit them for the glory of Jesus.

I have heard a testimony from a fellow brother in Christ: Ask not what God wants you to do, but what can you do for God. In short, he was asking God what He would like him to do for Him. God didn't give a direct answer but rather answered back: What would you like to do?

This brother likes to play the guitar and simply praise and worship God. While not professionally trained in the area of playing the guitar, he started the Guitar Worship class to teach fellow brothers and sisters in Christ to play guitar so that they can be enabled to bring worship to a whole lot new level! That was some seven plus years ago and today the demand for the guitar lessons is still overwhelming.

Many a times, we tend to ask God what He would like us to do for Him. But the grace to fulfill His master plan in our lives is already there. If someone is graced to lead praise and worship, the liking for singing will already has been there. If someone is graced for the pulpit minstry, the love the His word is already there. If someone is graced for the children ministry, the love for children would be like rivers of living waters overflowing to reach out to children.

Whatever the five loaves and two fishes that we have, leave them at the hand of Jesus and it will be able to feed multitude of people. Act out the giftings and talents that God has already given and we will be fulfilling His purpose in our lives.

Why Bother To Worship Jesus Christ

Now after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, wise men from the East came to Jerusalem, saying, "Where is He who has been born King of the Jews? For we have seen His star in the East and have come to worship Him." - Matthew 2:1 - 2:2 (NKJV)

After Jesus was born, wise men from the East came to look for Him to worship Him. Thinking that He should be at the king's palace, they went to approach king Herod enquiring about the whereabout of the King of the Jews. They eventually found their way to where Jesus was at and worship Him with gold, frankincense, and myrrh. They probably knew the young child was no ordinary child and that could be the reason why they worshipped Him. After been divinely warned by an angel of not returning to Jerusalem, they departed from Bethlehem to their own country.

Of course what came after was a story about a king ordering the killing of male child around the age of two and below. But why the massacre of the young boys? Because the King of kings, the Lord of lords was born as a male child! And king Herod was afraid as he thought this little boy will one day take over the throne. Little did he know that this little Child is not coming to de-throne him but has come to save all the earth's people from their sin.

This little Child is definitely no ordinary child. He is the Son of God! He has come to give himself up as the sacrifical lamb at the cross so that people who believe He is Saviour and Lord can have right standing with God! For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)

What's the big deal about the sacrifice of Jesus at the cross? 

That one completely complete work at the cross by Jesus Christ has made all those who believe in Him to have right standing with God. The divine exchange of His righteousness for our sin has taken place at the cross! And for those who believe in Jesus and His finished work at the cross can go to the throne of grace in times of need to cry Abba Father and the loving Heavenly Father will answer their every cry to Him!

And that's why we worship Christ Jesus! We worship Jesus for He is good! We worship Jesus for taking our place at the cross and for bearing all the wrath of God upon His own body! We worship Him for bearing all our diseases for by His stripe, we are healed! We worship Jesus because of His shed blood that keeps on cleansing us of all our sins. We give our praises to Him for He alone deserves all our praises and adoration.

We worship Jesus for all the good that He has done in our lives and for all the good that He is doing and continue to do in our lives. We thank Jesus for keeping us protected from all evil formed. We worship him for keeping us safe from known or unknown viruses! We thank Jesus for the shalom peace which He has bequeathed to us.

Needlessly to say there is no way we can completely describe what Jesus has accomplished for us. For the little we know about Jesus, lets just give Him our adoration and praise! 

When you feel God is miles away

And God said: "This is the sign of the covenant which I make between Me and you, and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations: I set My rainbow in the cloud, and it shall be for the sign of the covenant between Me and the earth. - Genesis 9:12-13, NKJV

When God decided to flood the earth, the earth was already populated with humans who were longer of the pure human breed. Only Noah, his wife, three sons and their wifes were of the pure human breed. In order to preserve the pure human race, God decided to flood the earth so that those who were not of pure human breed will be destroyed. Even though evil has spread throughout the earth, God has compassion upon His creation, the human kind. He was angry at the offsprings of fallen angels and earthly women yet He didn't want to do a reset by swiping the human kind once and for all and then move on to create another creature of His own image.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. God loves the human kind and that's why He preserved the lives of Noah and his family. God wants Noah and his family to be fruitful and multiple.

This same loving God is still loving His people. His word says that He will never leave nor forsake His people. He is always there for His people. Yet there were times when you feel that the loving Heavenly Father is miles away. You think He is not listening at all as all the chanllenging issues of life are still staring you in the face. You may even think that God has deserted you and you are left to your own demise. Perhaps you are so angry with God for not pulling through for you at the most critical times of your life that you "denounced" God totally!

Maybe someone very dear in the family has passed on "prematurely". Maybe someone in the family is diagnosed with a critical illness and has been given a very negative report. Maybe someone has just lost a baby. Maybe a wayward child has run away from home. Perhaps you are now a bankrupt. Maybe you have a huge debt which you cannot service. Perhaps you may think that all things are working against you and you are depressed and have already started a very bad thing like drug abuse and you think there is no way of this predicament.

Take heart, beloveds of the Lord, the caring and loving Heavenly Father is right beside you. He who appeared as a dark cloud in the day and a pillar of fire during the night during the wandering days of the children of Israel will do miracle in your life today! Trust in His unending love for you. His timing is perfect and He will always pull through for you.

Look to Jesus and His finished work at the cross. Keep your heart from being troubled by casting all your care upon Jesus for He cares. Keep believing God is working all things for your good for He IS. Keep trusting God even in the midst of the fiercest storm. As you behold Jesus, He will perform the miracles you need or He will give you the wisdom and grace you need to overcome the negative situation. Look to Jesus for He is our all in all. Hallelujah!

Judge Your State Based On Your Standing In Christ

If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. - Colossians 3:1, NKJV

We are raised together with Christ on resurrection Sunday. When Christ rose from death, He conquered death and all His enemies were put under His feet. We, who are in Christ, are to proclaim victory over our lives for Christ has already done it all at the cross some two thousand years ago. We have right standing with God because of the finished work at the cross! Hallelujah!

We will face challenges in this life, some seemed so overwhelming that we simply chose to give up the fight of faith. We may have reacted in a very negative manner during those trying times. We may be even ashamed of what we did durnig times of great stress or foolishness. We may have felt lousy and not worthy of our calling in Christ. What's worst is to lose our identity in Christ, to question our standing with God!

Lets get this issue straighten out once and for all. Our standing with God is based on the finished work of Christ at the cross! It has absolutely nothing to do with us. We are to work out our salvation and NOT for our salvation. We are to live a Christ-like lives not because we have to but because we want to! For the life of Christ is in us and the Holy Spirit will guide us in all things. Whether we do good or not has no impact on our standing with God. Our state may fluctuate based on our feeling at that point of time, but our standing with God is based on the Solid Rock, Christ Jesus, who never rolls.

Regardless of our actions, our standing with God is as secure and sure as the crucifixion of Christ at the cross. While we may feel unworthy of our calling in Christ at times, that doen't change the truth that we are saved through the precious blood Jesus Christ at the cross. Know and be constantly conscious of who we are in Christ. For we are complete in Christ. Lean on Him to guide and provide for He is providence. Put your trust in Him for He will always come through for you in your great trials. His timing is perfect. In the fight of fatih do not lose your hope.

The book of Hebrews in the holy scriptures tells us of great exploit by great men of God. It tells us how these great men of God lived their lives by faith in God. They did things which God has instructed them to do so. Their names were mentioned in the bible to show us how to live our lives by faith even though they were not perfect in their own conduct and deeds. God still blesses Abraham even though he lived twice about his wife Sarah. God called David as a man after His own heart even though David was a adulterer and murderer. God called Gideon a man of valour even though he was a coward hidng from his enemies. There are so many records of great men of God and their exploits in the bible for our learning. 

Keep believing we are right with God. Keep trusting God that all things will turn out for our good. Keep speaking good into our lives for death and life are in the power of the tongue. See ourselves cleaned by the precious blood of Chrst. Judge your state based on the standing in Christ! Hallelujah!

Jesus Wept

Jesus wept. - John 11:35 (NKJVS)

The scripture tells us that Jesus wept when He saw the tomb of Lazarus. He saw the consequence of the treason committed by Adam and Eve at the garden of Eden. He saw the fall of mankind like no one could and He knew He was born to die at the cross for the forgiveness of all our sins and transgressions. He knew death is an enemy to God and that man was created to live forever and to enjoy God's blessings all the days of his life.

Jesus wept because He knew death shall be put under His feet. The scripture tells us that Jesus waited another two days after He was informed of the death of Lazarus. The scripture also tells us that Jesus told His disciples that Lazarus was sleeping and that He was going to "wake him up" and later told His disciples that Lazarus was dead when His disciples answered Him that they should let Lazarus sleep longer. Jesus most probably would have cried because of the unbelief of those at the funeral.

It was doubt in God's goodness that the children of Israel believed the report of the majority of the spies who were sent to spy out the land which God has said He has already given to them. It is a land flowing with milk and honey. Yet the children of Israel chose to believe there were giants in the promised land. They chose to believe they were like grasshoppers in the eyes of the giants. They chose to believe they shall not cross Jordan river into the promised land. They simply doubted God. And doubted God at His word.

If only they knew the giants were afraid of them because of the miralces God had performed to bring the children of Israel out of Egypt. If only they knew they could eat those giant like bread. For that was exactly what Joshua and Caleb had reported. The giants were bread to them and that they were more than able to take over the land. The children of Israel would have crossed Jordan river into the promised land and taken control over the land had they listened to the loving God!

I believe Jesus was primarily weeping at Lazarus' tomb because of the unbelieve of those presented there.

Today, the Holy Spirit can only be grieved by the unbelief of those who have witnessed the goodness of God and their choice of rejecting the gift of salvation.

When Jesus went to the cross to die for all our sins, He accomplished the will of the Father and had divinely given us His righteousness. The work at the cross is completely completed! The divine exchange had taken place: our sin for His righteousness! We are the righteousness of God in Christ because of the work of Jesus at the cross.

The work of salvation cannot be reversed! Likewise, the blessings of God cannot be reversed! We are either eternally saved or we are not. There is no two way about it. And if we are saved by the precious blood of Jesus, we can expect to reign in this life. For if by the one man's offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.) - Romans 5:17 (NKJVS)

Keep believing God is god and see His miraculous power working for us mightily! Hallelujah.

God WILL NEVER give up on you, so don't you dare give up on yourself!

He said to him the third time, " Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?" Peter was grieved because He said to him the third time, " Do you love Me?"
And he said to Him, " Lord, You know all things; You know that I love You." Jesus said to him, " Feed My sheep. - John 21:17 - NKJV

In the natural, we would not have appointed the one who just betrayed us to take care of our businesses, operations, or even our families! Yet Jesus appointed Peter, who had earlier denied knowing Him three times, to look after the His flock. Jesus had prayed that Peter's faith would not fail and still believed in the very one who had a foul mouth to beginning with. Jesus entrusted the early church into the very hands of Peter not because he will not fail but His failth in him never wavers!

That's how God sees us. He sees us complete in Christ! He so loved us that He is willing to let His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to die for us at Calvary cross. For the divine exchange took place at the cross. Our sins and transgressions for His righteousness. He bore all the wrath of God so that we can be redeemed from the curse of the law. We are now freed from the law! We have the righteousness of Christ! We are now sons and daughters of the most high God.

We are now seated in Christ beside the right hand of God. We have right standing with God through the finished work of Christ at the cross.

Now, the bible tells us we will be prosecuted for His sake and there will be trials and challenges in this fallen world. Sometimes things happened in such a manner that we may be broken into pieces. We simply gave up on some of the challenges in life because we just don't have the strenth and resources and the wisdom to deal with them. We broke down and cried till there was no tear left. Sometimes we find ourselves venting our fustration at those close to us simply because we don't see the ligh at the end of the tunnel.

At times, we beat ourselves up for failing big time at the office or in the family. We may drown our sorrows in bad habits such as smoking which we find it hard to kick later on. Whatever the bad situations we may find ourselves in, there is always an answer to it. Even in the natural, there will always be a way out of every dire situation. What more when we are children of the God most high?

Christ didn't die for us so that our lives will be a bed of roses, so that our lives will be plain sailing. He died for us so that we, in and through Him, can live a victorious life in this world. For in Christ we are more than conquerors. His supply is always more than our needs. His grace will see us through in every situations, regardless of how hopeless it may seem.

Perhaps some of us may be facing a life threatening medical condition which doctors have no cure for. Or some of us may be dealing with a huge financial debt which we simply can't pay up. Maybe some of us are still mourning over the loss of a very dear one in the family, even though that person has passed on years ago. Whatever the bad situation may be, Jesus has the answer for He is the Answer!

The bible tells us that Jesus raised the dead, healed the sick, made the poor no more and even saved a couple of embarrassment because they ran out of wine during their wedding. He healed the broken hearted and He calmed the storm in our hearts. Jesus is the same, yesterday, today and forever. He will turn all things for our good! We don't have to give up on ourselves for Jesus Himself is holding on to us. He is upholding us with His mighty hand. He is working things behind the scene for our good. Simply trust in His love for us! Jesus never fails and we can the assurance that He will pull through for us. So never, never, never give up for Christ lives in us! Hallelujah!

Keep on practicing the Lord's presence

The Lord was with Joseph, and he was a successful man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian. And his master saw that the Lord was with him and that the Lord made all he did to prosper in his hand. - Genesis 39:2-3

When you are conscious of the presence of the Lord in your life, you will experience unmerited, underserved favour in your life! How is that so? When your focus is on Lord Jesus, you will be so consicous of what He has accomplished at the cross that whatever you are going through, you will experience His wisdom and grace in that situation which will cause you to be prosperous in everything you lay your hand on. Only the Lord can place you at the right place and at the right time. He only will cause all things to work together for your good.

The bible tells us Joseph was in Egypt and he had nothing to his name. He had no kins to turn to and definitely no backing to rely on. Yet the bible tells us that Joseph was a prosperous man. How was that possible? I believe Joseph was aware of the Lord's presence in his life. He believed that all things will turn out for his good even when his current circumstances seemed to suggest otherwise. Joesph was sold as a slave to an Egyptian captain of the guard. His master could see that the Lord was with Joseph for whatever Joseph laid his hands on, it prospered. The favour of the Lord worked so mightily in Joseph's life that his master put him in charge of his whole household. The presence of the Lord in Joseph must have made Joseph so attractive that even Potiphar's wife wanted to lie with him. However, Joseph was so conscious of the Lord's presence that he ran away from Potiphar's wife for he had said that it was great wickedness to lie with his master's wife. Joseph, who lived more than four hundred years before the law was given, had the knowing in his heart that commiting adultery was wrong.

The bible also tells us Joshua and Caleb, whom God said in His word that Caleb had a different spirit and had followed Him fully, were the only ones out of the twelve spies who had spied out the land of Canaan to go to the promised land. They were different from the rest of the spies because they were full of the spirit of the Lord. They see God bigger than their enemies so much so that they see their enemies as bread to be eaten. However, the other ten spies saw themselves as grasshoppers in the eyes of their enemies. I personally think that Caleb and Joseph had a strong consciousness of the Lord's presence in their lives. And that consicousness made them bold and strong in the Lord. Even at age eighty five, Caleb said he was as strong as when God sent him to spy out the promised land some forty five years ago.

I believe when we are conscious of the Lord's presence in whatever dealing we are in, we will always emerge victorious. We will prosper for the Lord is pouring forth His favour abundantly into our lives. We shall be the head and not the tail for the good Lord is continuously working miracles in our lives. Give thanks to the Jesus and praise Him for He had already completed the complete work of redemption at the cross for us. Hallelujah!

Thank God He doesn't do reset

being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ; - Philipians 1:6, NKJV

God has a masterplan for everyone on earth. Regardless of where we are born, how we are delivered during birth or when we arrived on earth, each and every one has a destiny in Christ. For we are His wonderful creations and He sent His Son Jesus Christ to die at the cross so that we can reign in life

When God created man and woman, He destined them to reign over the earth and to have dominion over all other living creatures. Yet Eve fell for the trick of satan and Adam, out of his love for Eve, also partook of the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Even though men have fallen in this world, God already has a plan in placed to redeem men from falling short of the mark through the finished work of Jesus at the cross.

Yet throughout history, the crazy satan has tried and still continue to try to spoil God's plan for men. The bible tells us of the story of Noah and the ark. In the book of Genesis, God told Noah to build an ark to save him and his whold household as well as some animals. It seems, on surface, God is a merciless God and "heaven bend" on destroying the living creatures that He has created. However, the reverse is the truth! The devil has tried to "pollute and corrupt" the human race through his fallen angels.

During the years that Noah was building the ark, the other men and women were no longer pure human breed. They were creatures born of the union of earthly women and fallen angels who had taken the form of men. The only way to save the human race was to destroy the others who were not. That's God's love for men and not God's judgement on men. God brought forth the flood to destroy all other living creatures except Noah and his family, altogether eight of them and the animals that came to the ark.

And the Lord smelled a soothing aroma. Then the Lord said in His heart, "I will never again curse the ground for man's sake, although the imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth; nor will I again destroy every living thing as I have done. - Genesis 8:21, NKJV. It is the grace of God that He will never again curse the ground for man's sake.

The bible tells us the devil never stops at destroying men. Because the moment God found out it was the devil who had tricked Adam and Eve into sin, He prophesized that His Son shall crushed the devil's head!

When you are trying all your best to overcome the adversity you are in at the moment, look to Jesus and His finished work at the cross. For that's the ultimate display of God's love towards men by having His precious Son to be crucified on the cross. Don't be disheartened when the breakthrough you are seeking for has yet to manifest. Know that God is working behind the scene to bring about the masterplan He has begin in you till fruition. Do all that you need to do but remain at rest inwardly. For God has bequeathed His shalom in each of us.

Keep believing God is a good God and His timimg is always perfect. His deliverance is always according to His plan. Keep trusting Him and dwell in His word and you will see the miracle that you need manifesting in your life. Hallelujah!

Feeling stressed out?

The Lord is my strength and song, And He has become my salvation; He is my God, and I will praise Him; My father's God, and I will exalt Him. - Exudos 15:2

Are you feeling you are stressed out? Are you thinking you don't measure up even though you think you have put in your all? Are you doubting your ability to finish what have been tasked to you? Are you feeling condemned that you have been falling short of what people expect of you or even your own expectations? Hey, maybe you just want to throw in the white towel and call it quits? Maybe you think your life is not worth the living afterall and you want to end it now?

STOP!

There is no such thing as plain sailing in life! There are challenges in every corners of our lives; some are so overwhelming that we feel like giving up immediately. Yet when we looked back at those moments in our lives where we didn't quit and instead became stronger and wiser, we can't help but to give thanks to God who gladly supplied His strength, and will continue to supply abundantly His strength in us to see us through difficult times of our lives. We don't have to keep looking for challenges for they will find us. And when we face them head on and trust the Almighty God for His wisdom and favour, God will see us through!

The bible tells us God delivered His people out of the tyrannical rule of the Egyptian ruler. But God didn't immediately deliver His people out of Egypt the moment they were oppressed by the Egyptians. He waited four hundred and thirty years before the children of Israel crossed the Red Sea. And even then, God didn't automatically open the Red Sea when the children of Israel were at the bank of the sea with the furious Egyprtian armies hot on their heels. He 'waited' for Moses to ask Him for help before He commanded Moses to hit the sea with his rod. Also, God sent Moses to deliver His people only when they started to moan of the hardship under the rule of Pharaoh.

You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over. - Psalm 23:5. Why does God prepare a table in the presence of our enemies? Why does God, at so many instances, wait till the very last moment to deliver His people? This is so so that we can know without a shadow of doubt it is God who has so graciously delivered us out of our predicaments! Why does God set prepare a table? I believe it is a form of ritual to celebrate victory between covenant people. We are His covenant people because of the finished work of Jesus at the cross. In the same verse, God anoints the head of the righteous with oil. To put it simply, He is pouring His provisions over His people. And the provisions are overflowing because our cups run over!

As the beloved of the Lord, we can look and trust in the Almighty God who never fails. He may seem to be late in delivering His people out of their dire straits but God is ALWAYS on time. His timing is ALWAYS perfect. Keep believing for good happening and just let go and let God. Hallelujah. 

What are you speaking to yourself?

For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, 'Be removed and be cast into the sea, ' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them. - Mark 11:23-24

What are you speaking to yourself? Are you always doubting yourself? Are you always thinking that you don't measure up? Are you fearful of the future and at the same time in constant regret of the past? Are you always looking at your lack? Are you always focusing on the negative things in your life? Are you always thinking "If only" and "What if"?

The bible tell us Jesus cursed the fig tree for it has the appearance of fruitfulness where it didn't. It has leave but no fruit. In a context, Jesus is teaching His disciples how to exercise their faith by speaking. Mark 11 tells us to believe and speak. The emphasis is on speaking what you believe. Jesus is teaching us the importance of speaking. In Proverb 18:21, the bible says death and life are in the power of the tongue and those who love it will eat its fruit. We are to speak good into our lives and we will see good and not the other order around. 

Caleb and Joshua and the other ten spies went to spy out the promised land which God had promised. When they were back from their mission forty days later, they were the only two who reported that the enemies were bread to them and that the children of Israel were more than able to conquer them. The other spies reported that there were giants in the land and told the children of Israel that they were like grasshoppers in their own sights. God was pleased with the report of Caleb and Joshua and they were only two to go to the promised land together with a new generation of the children of Israel. 

The woman with the issue of blood kept speaking to herself if only she could touch the hem of Jesus' garment that she would be healed. Well, she was healed when she touched the hem of Jesus' garment and Jesus even proclaimed she has been made whole. The centurion just asked Jesus to speak a word of healing for his servant for he believed Jesus could heal from a distant. Jesus marveled at his faith and his servant was healed at that very moment.

What we speak to ourselves is so important and yet many of us are programmed to speak death quickly in almost every situation we are in! And that may be a reason why we are not seeing more good happenings manifesting in our lives. We tend to focus on the negativities rather than the positvies of everything. We have been "deceived" into believing the worst in everything even though it is usually the reverse that is true.

We, the beloved of the Lord, should keep speaking good and continue to proclaim and believe the finish work of Jesus at the cross! Keep doing that for Jesus had already provided everything we need on earth and beyond. Hallelujah!

Just when you think you are a nobody...

But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb and called me through His grace, - Galatians

1:15

In Chapter 11 of Hebrews, the men and women of faith were mentioned. Their exploits were recorded so that we can learn from them. Yet when we spend time reading the bible, we will notice that they were not at all perfect but just men and women whom God has called. The point is not to belittle who they are in Christ but to emulate their "faith" in God! For there are so much we can learn from them.

Abram was told by God that he shall be the father of many nations and God changed his name to Abraham. In spite of the promise made by God, Abraham doubted God and had a child by his own fleshly effort through Hagar. From the time God declared Abraham was righteous and that he will be a father of many nations till the time Isaac was born was about twenty five years. It may have been a very long wait for Abraham but God still comes through for Abraham.

Sarai was very domineering and probably "commanded" Abram to sleep with her maid. She was barren when she was married to Abram. Yet when she was ninety years old, God literally renewed her youth so that she could have pleasure with Abraham and produce Isaac. 

When Moses was young and learned of the ways of the Egyptians, he was not used by God. The bible tells us he was eloquent and full of the wisdom of the Egyptians. Moses fled from Egypt after he learnt that there were people who knew of his killing of an Egyptian. He fled away from Egypt and lived forty years in the dessert. When God sees that Moses can be a useful deliverer of His people, Moses was a stutter. He was no longer the same eloquent and confident prince he once was.

During the years in the dessert, Moses may be thinking that he was no longer deserving of his calling in life which was to deliver the children of Israel out of Egypt into the promised land. Yet when Moses was eighty years old, God called him to deliver His people out of Egypt! Little would Moses had guessed he was still the appointed one to deliver God's chosen people out of Egypt.

Rehad was a prostitute in Jericho. When the children of Israel sent two spies to spy out Jericho, she was there to help them to escape from Jericho by lying to the soldiers who were pursuing the two spies. She told the spies that forty years ago when her people heard of how God of Israel delivered His people from the Egyptians, how He parted the Red Sea and how He drowned the whole Egyptian army, her people were afraid that God will also deliver them into the hands of the children of Israel. Yet it was only forty years later that the children of Israel "conquer" Jericho. Even though Rehad was a prostitute, her name was recorded in the genealogy of Jesus Christ!

God always call forth the least to confound the mighty. He can and will turn our messes into messages of His glory. He can use what we think is little to magnify His goodness in our lives. Don't look at the little that we have and begin to worry all the times that we don't measure up. God sees us complete in Christ and He will complete His master plan in each of His people.

Just when you think you are a have been, just when you think you are a nobody, just when you think you are the outcast of society, God can turn your live around for His glory for His precious Son, Jesus Christ, has paid the ultimate price at the cross to redeem us from the curse of the law! We can reign in this life because of what Jesus has accomplished at the cross. Just believe and keep hearing the word of Christ and see the  supply of God's grace coming and flowing through us! Hallelujah!

Do you still believe in Jesus when things are going against you?

And behold, the word of the Lord came to him, saying, " This one shall not be your heir, but one who will come from your own body shall be your heir." Then He brought him outside and said, " Look now toward heaven, and count the stars if you are able to number them." And He said to him, " So shall your descendants be." And he believed in the Lord, and He accounted it to him for righteousness. - Genesis 15:4-6

The scriptures tell us that Abram believed in the story of the Messiah and God accounted him for righteousness. In present context, when we believe in Jesus and His redemptive work at the cross, we are made the righteousness of God in Christ. It is the work of Jesus at the cross which fully qualified and justified us before God. It is His precious blood that keeps on cleansing us and by His strip, we are healed and made whole.

In the natural, Abram was old and quite advance in age when God told him he would have an heir through Sarai. In spite of the fact he was childless and Sarai was barren, he believed God.

The three friends of Daniel didn't want to bow down to king Nebuchadnezzar and steadfastly believed in the almighty God whom would save them even if they were to be thrown in to the fiery furnace. After the three friends were thrown into the fiery furnace, the fourth Man appeared and rescued them from the fiery furnace. They were completely saved and were subsequently promoted by the very king who wanted to kill them!

The bible tells us that Joseph had two dreams and that in one of two dreams he was promoted above all this brothers. The brothers were jealous and plotted to kill him but eventually sold him as slave to an Egyptian captain. Even when Joseph was thrown into the dungeon because he rejected the advances of Potiphar's wife, he didn't stop believing God and after two years in the dungeon, Joseph was promoted to be the second man in command after Pharaoh.

When the children of Israel followed the lead of Moses to go out of Egypt, they were met with the Red Sea in front of them and the furious charge of the Egyptian army hot on their heels. At that very moment, they thought they would die and cried out to Moses why he had brought them out to die. In spite of their murmuring, God opened the Red Sea for them to cross and drown the very Egyptian army that were pursuing them!

When things seem to be going in the exact direction that we envision them to be, do we still believe in Jesus and His finished work at the cross and boldly declare we are the righteousness of God in Christ? When you are in the middle of fiery trial, do you still believe Jesus has a great plan for you and He will deliver you out this predicament? When your life seems to fall apart, do you still put your trust in God whom so loved us in the first place?

What if the the fiery trial is a dreaded disease? What if the challenge is a mountain of debt? What if the persecution comes from a love one in family? What if the devastating hit is the lost of a child? Do we still dare believe in God? Can we still trust God?

The answer is YES! The bible tells us in the book of Jeremiah that God only has good thoughts toward us and He has a master plan to do us good! So, in spite of all the negative circumstances surrounding us, we can still, by faith, believe in the loving God. We can look forward to a future full of hope and light for Jesus is in control and He will turn all things around for our good.

Don't lose hope in God. Keep believing God and declaring victory in our lives for Jesus has already given us the victory at the cross! Hallelujah!

Jesus is fighting your battles

"When you go out to battle against your enemies, and see horses and chariots and people more numerous than you, do not be afraid of them; for the Lord your God is with you, who brought you up from the land of Egypt. - Deuteronomy 20:1

The bible tells us that the Lord will NEVER leave nor forsake us. He is there when we are going through our valleys and He is there with us when we are at our mountain tops. The word says: Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. - Psalm 23:4

After Abraham had defeated four kings who had captured his nephew, he was afraid the four kings would come back to take revenge and take back whatever belonged to them and much more. Yet the word of the Lord came to Abraham to assure him that He is his shield and exceedingly great reward.

When Moses was leading the children of Israel to cross the Red Sea with the Egyptian army in hot pursuit, the good Lord was with them and He opened the Red Sea for the children of Israel to cross and yet caused the Red Sea to drown the whole of the Egyptian army! And when Joshua was leading to children of Israel to conquer the city of Jericho, the Lord just commanded Joshua and his army to shout at the wall of Jericho and the wall of Jericho just collapsed in front of them.

In our daily living, the good Lord is with us all the way, all the times. We may not have felt His presence but rest assured He is there where we are. He is fighting our every battle even though when things seem impossible to overcome. He is there to comfort us even when we think He is miles away. He is right there where we are even though we may be numb to His whisper.

We are the beloveds of the Lord, Jesus Christ. We have a great and mighty savior who willingly die for us at the cross! Because of His great love for us, He is willing and more than capable to handle our every care and concern. We just have to cast them upon the very feet of our lovely Lord and rest in His finihsed work at the cross. For He will complete His work in us for He loves and cares for us.

In spite of what we are going through; be it fighting the dreaded disease that the doctors have no answer for or be it dealing with a mountain of debt that we have no resources to clear or be it a broken relationship which we wish it is mended but isn't or be it simply a question of where to send your children for their continuing education, the good Lord is the Answer and is working behind the scene to turn all things for our good.

Rest in His great love for us and watch how the Lord fights our every battle. Hallelujah!

I have an awesome God

For the Lord is great and greatly to be praised; He is also to be feared above all gods. - 1 Chronicles 

16:25

God is an awesome God!

He first called forth light and light is still going forth to places beyond our wildest imagination. This light is not the natural sun light that most of us are familiar with for this "Light" is Jesus Himself. Jesus is there in the beginning and in all things He exists and all things exist for Him. All things were made for Him!

Isn't it interesting that God made man on the sixth day after He had created all other things and living creatures for man to have dominion over. If God had created man on the very first day, man would be living in complete darkness. He would have no natural light to see. He would have no land to stand upon. He would have no food to eat as well! Now that would have been a terrible thought.

Yet God made man on the sixth day so that man can enjoy all that God has created. Man was made to enjoy all that God has for him. He is to rest in God and just bask in God's great love. Man is called to have dominion over all created things and to live a long good life without death. He is called to be fruitful and "to bring joy" to God for God has great joy when He sees His wonderfully and awesomely made man enjoying all that He has for him.

Yet man sinned against God by partaking of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. With that single rebellious act against God, man has surrendered his authority on earth to the accuser, satan himself. 

Praised God this act of man didn't catch Him by surprise. He knows man would sin against Him yet He made man with a free will and He doesn't overrule that free will of man even though He has every power to do so. He will not take away that free will for He is a righteous God! God respects man's decisions, even his choice to sin against God.

God has a redemptive plan in place long before man would sin against God. He so loved the world that He IS willing to send His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to die for us at the cross. He will take back the authority that Adam has lost righteously through Christ Jesus, our Lord and great Redeemer.

He sent His Son to redeem all mankind and yet man still, on his own free choice, choose to sin against God. God didn't see how man rebel against Him but only sees the perfection of the redemptive work of His Son, Jesus Christ, at the cross. He sees the precious blood of Jesus being shed at the cross for the sins of man. He sees the sinless body of Jesus being broken for our wholeness. He sees the shalom peace of Jesus being bequeathed to His creations which are made in the perfect image of Him! Hallelujah!

God no longer remembers our sins and our transgressions against Him for all the punishment has been bore by Jesus at the cross. And His single perfect obedience at the cross redeems us from eternal damnation forever! Prase God for He is awesome to be prasied. Hallelujah!  

Sing praises to the Lord and worship God

I will praise the Lord according to His righteousness, And will sing praise to the name of the Lord Most High. - Psalm 7:17

Always sing praises to the Lord. Worship God at all times. And something miraculous will happen: the peace and joy of God will fill your heart to overflowing!

When we praise and worship God, we are giving glory to God. We are depending on His goodness and grace to see us through all the days of our lives. When we worship God, we are focusing on the Lord who willingly die as us at the cross some two thousand years ago. We acknowledge there is only true God worthy of our praise and worship.

When we praise and worship God, He fights our battles. Be it a dreaded disease, be it a huge debt, be it a failed marital relationship, be it a depression, He will fight on our behalf.

For at the cross, Jesus bore all the wrath of the punishment of our sins and transgressions by His very own body. By His stripe, we are more than healed, we are made whole. His precious blood washes us clean every moment of our lives. Jesus was made poor at the cross that we through His poverty shall be made rich. For my God shall apply all my needs according to the riches in glory by Christ Jesus. At the cross, He "restore" a "lost" son in John to His earthly mother. Jesus wore a crown of thorns and He shed blood of sweat so that we can live life care-free and fearless.

We sing praises and worship God during church service corporately to usher in the presence of the Lord. There is power and unity when we worship God corporately. God is honoured and exalted above all things.

Give thanks and worship God for He fights our battles. He will turn all things for our good. When we praise and worship Him in the spirit, we speak our future in existence. When we praise and worship God, the angels rejoice together with us and the devil is nowhere to be found!

Sing praises to the Lord for He is good and His mercy endures forever! Hallelujah! 

Jesus loves us unconditionally

For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. - Romans 5:7-8

The bible tells us for God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son to die for the world. There is no "string attached" as to why God would send His Son, Jesus Christ, to die for the world but only His unending and unceasing love toward men. The love of God was fully demonstrated at the cross by Christ Jesus some two thousand years ago.

For by one completely complete work of Jesus at cross, all our sins are forgiven and we are reconciled with God through Christ. We can now come boldly to the His throne of grace in times of need to cry out Abba, Father! At the cross, the divine exchange has taken place: our sin for His righteousness.

God wasn't forced or coaxed into sending His Son to the cross. He sent His Son out of His love for us! He didn't want men to live in a state of sin for without Christ, we were all prisoners of sin. Yet with the finished work at the cross, we are no longer prisoners of sin but prisoners of righteousness. We are made the righteousness of God in Christ! We have Christ's righteousness!

And because Jesus died and rose again three days later, we are being justified. We are qualified by the precious blood of Jesus and nothing else. Only the sinless blood of Jesus can atone for all our sins. Only His blood can eternally washed us clean of all our sins and transgressions. Only His precious blood keeps and protects us all the days of our lives.

The bible tells us that perhaps one would die for a good man. But Christ died for all of us while we were still sinners! As sinners, we sin. But now that we are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus, His beloveds, the precious ones that are worth saving, whatever we do are righteousness acts. Don't get me wrong here, we still sin here and there for our bodies have not been perfected yet. But we are as righteousness as Jesus is before God! God sees us in Christ. And in Christ, the full perfection of God.

We are not perfect in our thoughts and deeds yet God sees us perfect in Christ. He sees us in our finished product: the perfect reflection of the every image of Jesus. We have not contributed a tiny bit in the redemptive work of Jesus at the cross. It is all Jesus and it is all about Jesus. We are to enjoy His victory for us. We are called to enjoy His perfect love for us. For He first loves us so that we can love others.

As beloved of the Lord, we simply enjoy His peace and joy and be lead by the Holy Spirit in our daily endeavors. Know this for sure, God will never be angry with His people and He will always take good care of His people. Hallelujah!

Jesus is the over-comer and we are more than conquerors in Him

Jesus is the conqueror and we get to enjoy His victory over satan at the cross some two thousand years ago. We are more than conquerors in Christ for it is Him who has given us the victory and we need not fight the satan ourselves but only to enforce his defeat in Christ Jesus! Hallelujah!

We can reign in this life for the finished work at the cross. For at the cross, the divine exchange had taken place, our sin for His righteousness, His right standing with God for our state of sin. With His shed blood, we are forgiven of all our sins, past, present and future! We are constantly been cleansed by His precious blood for His blood keeps on keeping on cleansing us of all our sins. It is as if we are placed under the waterfall of His precious blood and the constant flow keeps on washing us in every each way.

In the book of revelation of the bible tells us to behold the sacrificial Lamb of God and the Lion of Judah. This is what the apostle John saw when he thought there is no one worthy to un-seal the seven seals on earth. In it, the bible tells us the sacrificial Lamb looked as if It was just been slain! This speaks of the ever cleansing power of the precious blood of Jesus. While the divine exchange took place some two thousand years ago, we are to appropriate it as though it just happened at the Calvary Hill. We are to see that the finished work at the cross is efficacious throughout time for it is out of time.

The work of Jesus at the cross is more than able to save the very first man on earth and the very last man that will come in the future. We can completely rest in His finished work at the cross knowing whatever is needed has been accomplished at the cross! We are first and foremost made the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. With it, we are blessed with every spiritual blessing. And by His stripe, we are already made whole, healed. We have the shalom peace of Jesus and we can enjoy His unfailing love towards us. For His perfect love casts out all fears!

The bible tells us to seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and all the things that we will ever need will be added unto us. The bible also defines the Kingdom of God as not about eating and drinking but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit! We are to be at rest knowing without a shadow of doubt regarding our salvation in Christ. It is eternal! For if it is not eternal, we shall never be sure of our redemption in Christ for we will never know which sin or transgression will cause us to lose our salvation in Christ.

The redemptive work of Christ is accomplished by Christ and Christ alone. We have absolutely no part in it except to rest in His finished work and to enjoy what Christ has done for us at the cross! We can rest assured knowing nothing can separate us from God the moment we believe in the salvation of our Lord Jesus Christ. We have the speaking power to proclaim victory in every circumstance. We can proclaim favor in our every situation. And we will see the grace of God pulling through for us! O Lord, it is all about His grace in our lives! His grace has see us thus far in our lives and it will continue to see us through in the future.

We can face every adversary in our lives with full confidence that Jesus will see us through. It is not a question of will He but a matter of His perfect timing to make all things beautiful in our lives! This is the kind of assurance we can have when Christ Jesus willingly gave Himself up at the cross on our behalf to bore all the wrath of God's punishments for our sins and transgressions.

Rest in His finished work at the cross and His grace in our lives and see the material manifestation of the miracles we need. Hallelujah!

There is none like Jesus

Jesus is the altogether lovely One. There is none other who can compare
with Him. He is my all in all. With Him, I have everything and I am
prosperous.

The bible says for God so loved the world that He sent His only begotten
Son, Jesus Christ, to die for the world so that whosoever believes in
Him shall not perish but has everlasting life. The loving Father sent
Jesus to die for sinner at the cross. For only the precious blood of
Jesus has the redemptive power to redeem our lives from destruction.
Only His blood can cleanse us of all our sins! And His blood keeps on
keeping on cleansing the believers.

Abba Father did not send an Arch Angel to save the world but the best
that Heavens have to offer, Jesus. He is perfect in every way. His blood
is sinless. He knew no sin and in He there is no sin. Yet at the cross,
Jesus became our sin sacrifice so that we can be made the righteousness
of God in Christ Jesus! What a wonderful work of Jesus Christ at the
cross! The divine exchange had taken place some two thousand years ago.

At the cross, the perfect one died for the imperfect ones. His
righteousness for our sin. He is our redeemer at the cross. He is the
over payment for our sin debts to God! He is the perfect offering at the
cross. No one else can satisfy God's judicial demand on men for our sins
and transgressions except Jesus Christ, our Lord and saviour. At the
cross Jesus was made poor so that we through His poverty shall be made
rich. The richness in the context of this verse in the bible speaks of
material abundance. The Lord is my Shepherd and I shall not want.

Jesus always prepares our path way before we ever walk through it. For
the bible tells us that the Lord will always go before us and prepare
the way. He is tirelessly working behind the scene to prosper and to
lift us up. He is the High Priest at Heavenly Father's right hand. He
shear presence speaks of the completely complete and thoroughly thorough
work at the cross! The work is so complete that men will never be able
to comprehend the value that Abba Father sees. There is no way we can
ever fully appreciate the finished work at the cross by Christ Jesus
with our puny minds.

The bible tells us that by Jesus' stripe, we are healed and made whole.
Whosoever believes unto the Lord Jesus is already made whole, complete,
and healed of every illness, disease and pain. It is our part to believe
and His part to perform and He has already perform the hard part at the
cross. It must have brought Jesus untold sufferings at the cross and yet
He saw the complete redemptive work for our sake and bore God's wrath
upon His own body so that God can judicially forgive all our sins and
transgressions.

Jesus has overcome the world and we are more than conquerors in Him. We
are to reign in this lifetime. We have the victory that Jesus paid His
life for at the cross. Jesus is our peace. His peace that surpasses all
understanding of the world He has bequeathed to us. He tells us to cast
all our cares upon Him for He cares very dearly for all our needs. He is
more than able and willing to fulfill exceedingly and abundantly above
all that we can think or ask for!
The beloved shall live each day knowing Jesus is always there for
him/her. Reign in life! Hallelujah!
