Where do we really draw strength from?

When faced with challenges, where do we really draw strength from? Perhaps we will draw strength from past experiences. Or maybe we have the encouragement of those around us to deal with the difficult situations. Or maybe we just don't have the strength to face the issue head on and decide to skirt round the issue.

For a child of God, where do we really draw strength from? Do we look to Jesus for courage or do we look at men for strength? If we would just trust Jesus, He will bestow us the wisdom, He will strengthen us from within, and He will provide us with the resources to deal with the difficult issues. Such is the promise of God: He will never leave me nor forsake me.

Draw from Jesus and we will have the wisdom and courage to face our "mountains" of difficulty. Look to Jesus for our needs, for He cares for us more than we care for ourselves. He is THE infinite source of strength and wisdom. Draw your strength from Jesus for He never fails.

Nothing to say

There are times where I have so many things to say and yet there is no motivation or courage to express those thoughts. Sometimes I'm just lost for word. Perhaps, I just want to remain silence. Yet there are times where I want to talk but nothing flows out of my mouth.

Maybe it is better for me to remain silence than to talk. Maybe it is time to listen or time to learn or time to absorb what others have to say. Whatever the case, have the wisdom to discern the moment.
