God Is Love

God is love. This is love: for we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. For
God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever
believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

God has so much love for His children that He is ever ready to abundantly
supply all their needs. He has a masterplan for all His children long
before their are aware of it. He has already designed a way of escape for
every trial His children are going through.

The bible tells a story of a prodigal father who was full of love for his
two sons. When the prodigal son came home, the father had so much love for
him that he immediately ran to the son, hugged him, kissed him and restored
the son with the ring, a new robe and a new pair of sandals. The father
didn't even mention the waste the prodigal had incurred but showered his
lavish love on the son.

This story illustrated the love of our havenly Father. He has so much to
give than we can receive. He has so much riches for His children to enjoy.
If only all His children will just reach out and enjoy His love.

In the midst of our trials, be assured that those trials didn't ecaspe His
attentive eyes. Abba Father has already designed a way out for us. Know
that there is no trial so big that His grace cannot reach. Enjoy the
Father's love for us. Flow in the river of love. Hallelujah!

The greatest love of all

We love for He first love us. My Abba Father loves me so much that He sent His only begotten Son to die on my behalf at the cross so that I can be made righteous before the Almighty God.

That's the kind of lavish love my God has for me. He doesn't want to see me suffer in any shape and form. He doesn't want me to suffer eternally in hades. He longs for my sonship. He wants to be close to me and provide for my every need.

He is always ahead of me to prepare my path. He wants the best for me. He wants me to remain in peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. He wants me to know that I am the righteousness of God in Christ. His plans for me are plans of a bright future and to prosper me. For the bible says, God will freely, with Christ, all things to enjoy.

We can now love one another because we first receive the love from Him. For we can do nothing without Christ. Jesus has come into our lives. The Holy Spirit indwells in me. He is the seal to the time of the second coming of Lord Jesus.

As fellow human being, our love for each other is limited. There is a limit to the love we have for each other. However, when we love each other with the love of Christ, there will be no limit to this Godly love. Regardless of how we are treated by others, we can always look to God for His un-ending love. The greatest love of all. Hallelujah!

My chains are gone, I've been set free

"My chains are gone, I've been set free. My God, my Saviour, had ransomed me." - Christ Tomlin.

I was so touch my this song, Amazing Grace (My Chains Are Gone), when I heard it just a few weeks ago. It reminded me of the freedom I have when Jesus had redeemed me some 2000 years ago.

I am no longer under any bondage or law for Jesus had fulfilled the law on my behalf. I'm the redeemed of the Lord. I am to believe in the finished work by Jesus at the cross and to be at rest.

The things of old have passed away. I am a new creation in Christ. I belong to the new covenant where all my sins have been forgiven because of Jesus' finished work. I can boldly go to Abba Father and commune with Him directly.

Praise the Lord that my old self had been crucified with Christ some 2000 years ago. Whom the Lord had set free, he is free indeed. Hallelujah!

Focus on the finished work at the cross

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

Jesus is the only Son born to die. After He was born, He was wrapped up in swaddling clothes and laid in a manger. Swaddling clothes were used to wrap up dead people and manger is basically crib for holding hay or food of animals. It is the same shape as a coffin.

Jesus came specifically to give His life in exchange for ours. He came to bring us back to Abba Father. He came to give us righteousness and to take away our sin. He came to give us prosperity and to take away poverty from us. He came to give us health and to take away pain and diseases. He came to give us a family and to take away our loneliness.

At the cross, the divine exchange took place. Jesus took our condemnation so we can have His righteousness. So we can be right with God. So we can come boldly to the throne of grace. He took away our old selves so that we have everything new. A new person who is born again in Christ. With the new person, all old things have passed away. Behold, all things are new! Hallelujah!

Time for communion

How often do we spend time communicating with our love ones? Some of us may have neglected this important aspect of our lives as we are pre-occupied with issues pertaining to work or issues which we think should take precedence over the time to commune with our love ones.

It is so easy to take our love ones for granted! For we always think that they will always be there for us. But this is not always true. Even when our love ones are always beside us, do we actually spend time to commune with them. Or we just want to speak out our mind and ignore what they have to say.

Blessed is the man whose God is Abba Father. For the Heavenly Father is always with us. He will never leave us nor forsake. He is always taking time to commune with us. He is busy yet He will always have time for His children. Be at rest and listen to Abba Father's heart. For His heart speaks of love, courage, strength, power, and reconciliation.

Spend time to commune with Abba Father, for He delights in our communion with Him. He loves to hear our every joy, happiness, and concern. He always has time to listen us. Talk with Him. Cast all your cares upon Him and lay all your burdens at His feet for He cares. Spend time with Him. No harm can come near you when you're in His presence. Hallelujah.

Breakfast with my wife

Belated Merry Christmas to all the lovely people in the world. Happy Boxing Day.

I'm having breakfast with my wife at the coffee stall near her office. It is a good feeling to be able to enjoy the companionship of my beloved spouse and to have breakfast amid our busy working schedules.

What more the Almighty God, whom desires to be with us, to help us and to save us. My Havenly Father enjoys my companionship. He loves to fellowship with me. He loves to give to me and to provide for all my needs. All I have to do is to believe in Him and receive from Him. Hallelujah!

The new year is just around the corner. What an eventful year it had been for 2007.

Right Believing

Some of us believe that God is only good to us when we behave right, when we live right, while some of us believe that God is good to us in spite of our wrong doings, not that we want to do them. Jesus told us in the bible that He came to do the will of His Father, which is to reconcile us with God through His own sacrifice at the cross.

How often do we still believe that we have a part to play to be right with God? Remember, it is Jesus who had come to fulfilled God's will for us, as us and in us. We have absolutely no part to play in sacrifice to be righteous, to be right with God.

Our part is to believe Jesus had done a complete work at the cross, and to rest in His finished work. By believing this truth, we will live right. It is right believing that leads to right living and not vice versa. And when we believe right, we will live a victorious life. A life that is a good testament to God. A life that is glorious. Hallelujah.

Perfect peace

In the midst of a perfect storm, there can be perfect peace.

This was best demonstrated when Jesus was crossing the sea of Galilee with His disciples. Some of His disciples were seasoned fishermen. To fear the storm the way they did must have been quite a storm. Yet, Jesus was not disturbed at all at what the devil was throwing at Him. He only woke up at the cry of His disciples. Immediately, He would calm the sea down.

This is the love of our Lord Jesus. He will come to our rescue the moment we look to Him for help. He is always with us as His word says He will never leave nor forsake us. He is aware of the difficult situations some of us are going through. He already has a plan to deliver us from those difficult situations.

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything, in prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your request be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all knowledge and understanding, will guard your heart and mind through Christ Jesus.

Jesus had left His peace with us while He was ascending into Heaven to be seated at the right hand of our Abba Father. This peace is not of the world but a knowing that our Lord is loving towards us and His love was demonstrated at the cross.
